Hanna Park Carols has been organised by Hawkesbury Valley Baptist Church since 2012. We are able to fund this event through the generosity of local businesses who also love their community and would like to see it thrive!

Over the years a team of volunteers has met monthly to bring this event together. While the team has changed over time, our hope to ‘Rejoice loudly and Bless much!!’ has stayed the same!

If you LOVE Hanna Park Carols as much as we do… Please support those who support us!

LET’S DO THIS TOGETHER!!

Why Hanna Park Carols?

Why do we Rejoice loudly and Bless much?! Because 2000+ years ago, the most incredible thing happened. Jesus was born, and everything changed! Jesus said “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full John 10:10b.

How can we not celebrate this?!

  • General Parking

We have free parking onsite. Please enter Hanna Park via Beaumont Ave, North Richmond. You will see our friendly parking team in Hi-Vis as you enter the park. Please follow their directions.

    Disability Parking

We have set aside the closest paved parking for those with access needs. There are limited numbers of these spots and so they will be given out on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.  Please note that most of these spaces are not extra wide. However, our wonderful parking attendants will try their best to accommodate your needs.

    Drop off/ Pick up zone

There will be a drop off/pick up zone. As you drive into Hanna Park our friendly parking team can guide you to this area. You then have the choice to Drop and Go, or for your convenience you can drop your passengers and their possessions close to the action, then move your vehicle to our regular car parking area.

  • Yes! This event is designed for anyone who would like to come - young or old. We have lots of fun things for children to enjoy including rides, activities and Santa. However, because it’s a public space with a large crowd, please be mindful of looking after your children. There will be a HVBC TENT set up between the main stage and the St John Ambulance First Aid tent. We recommend showing your children how to find this area, in the unfortunate event you get separated. We also recommend having your phone number on your child.

  • We recommend bringing a picnic rug and/or some folding chairs. You are also welcome to bring your own food/drink if you would like to.

  • Absolutely! We will have a variety of yummy local food trucks available for you to purchase from on the night if you wish. Please see our Food vendors section above for details. You are also welcome to bring your own food/drink if you would like to. We will have a FREE water station should you need to refill your water bottle.

  • We will again have our famous toilets available for your convenience. You may ask, why our toilets are famous?! The answer is simple. They are the talk of the town! We have an amazing team of volunteers who stay by the toilets and clean them regularly so that they remain fresh for your convenience. There is also 1 accessible toilet at the park if needed.

  • No, it’s free! Hanna Park Carols is a free community event brought to you by Hawkesbury Valley Baptist Church in conjunction with our amazing sponsors and community partners. While entry to the event is completely free, and so are the rides, we've also brought together a delightful range of food and drink vendors that you may purchase from if you wish to.

  • Yes, there will be fireworks! They will kick off around 9:20pm and last about 15 minutes. We love the sparkle and couldn’t imagine finishing the night any other way!
